I am a Principal at Finity Consulting in Sydney, focusing on extreme events, climate risk, and reinsurance. Earlier in my career, I served as Chief Executive Officer of FBAlliance Insurance, Chief Operating Officer of Aon Benfield Analytics Asia Pacific, and Vice President Operations, Public Affairs, and Reinsurance for the Florida Farm Bureau Insurance Companies.
My work has connected actuarial analysis with executive management, government policy, financial reporting, catastrophe resilience, and public communication. I have advised insurers, public institutions, and professional bodies on risks where data are incomplete, uncertainty is material, and decisions have long consequences.
I chair the International Actuarial Association's Climate and Sustainability Committee. I am a past Vice President—Casualty of the American Academy of Actuaries and have held leadership roles across the global actuarial profession.
I am also a founding project team member, lead collator, and media spokesperson for the Australian Actuaries Climate Index. The Index provides a quarterly, public-facing measure of changes in extreme weather conditions and sea levels across Australia.

I served as Vice President—Casualty and as a member of the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Actuaries. I currently serve on the Actuarial Standards Board's ASOP No. 39 Task Force and received the Academy's 2025 Jarvis Farley Service Award.
My Actuaries Institute work includes climate and sustainability leadership and service as a founding project team member, lead collator, and media spokesperson for the Australian Actuaries Climate Index. I was also named a 2023 Actuary of the Year and received the 2022 Distinguished Service Award.
